(1) For the management and operation of the Fund, one of the following: Fund Board of Directors shall be :- (a) Secretary, Ministry - Coordinator (b) Joint Secretary, Ministry of Finance "Member (c) Joint Secretary, Ministry of Law, Justice: and Parliamentary Affairs - Member (d) Joint Secretary, Labour: Ministry of Employment and Social Security - Member (e) Member-Secretary, Council - Member (f) Deputy Inspector General of Police, Police - Member Head Office (Directorate of Women, Children and Senior Citizen Services) - Member Tch | Joint Secretary , Ministry (seeing matters related to children)-Member-Secretary. (2) The amount of the fund shall be opened and deposited by the committee in a commercial bank established in accordance with the prevailing law relating to banks and financial institutions. It will be operated by the joint signature of the head of the financial administration branch. (4) The account of the income and expenditure of the fund shall be kept according to the accounting system adopted by the Government of Nepal. (5) The audit of the accounts of the Fund shall be conducted by the Auditor General.
(6) The funds remaining in the fund shall be used for the following purposes:-
(a) To rescue children in need of special protection,
(b) to provide relief and rehabilitation to children in need of special protection,
(c) To conduct programs approved by the Committee,
(d) To monitor the program to be carried out by the 8 Committees,
(e) To do other work related to the rights and interests of children as determined by the committee.
(7) Notwithstanding anything written in the existing law, if the amount of the fund remains unspent at the end of the financial year (such amount shall not be frozen).
